Susan Williamson is a native of Pittsburgh and Butler County, PA. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BS in Animal Science and an MS from the University of California at Davis in Genetics and Animal Breeding. She has worked as a 4-H Agent, substitute teacher, college adjunct professor, owner of of wallpaper and paint store, adult and community educator, food coop manager , newspaper editor, freelance writer, horse trainer and riding instructor. She and her husband live in Williamsburg, VA with a Labradoodle. Her hobbies include riding and showing American Saddlebred horses, reading , gardening and traveling. In addition to her two novels, Williamson is the author of How to Buy Your First Horse.
